The West Bengal Wrestling Association promotes the sport of Wrestling at schools, colleges, and universities across the State of West Bengal.
The West Bengal Wrestling Association also selects the Cadet, Junior, and Senior Wrestling team for both men and women to participate in the Cadet, Junior, and Senior National Wrestling Championships throughout the year.

The West Bengal Wrestling Association organizes mud wrestling competitions across the state, and these competitions are known as “DANGALS”.
The West Bengal Wrestling Association is planning to start a Pro Wrestling League to encourage and promote the sport of wrestling amongst the youth of the state. This will also be an exceptional opportunity for wrestlers to be part of a professional set-up and earn a living.

The West Bengal Wrestling Association provides free of cost residential training to wrestlers from the districts of West Bengal. The training involves the use of modern mats, training methodologies, and gym equipment. In addition, coaches are sent to districts on a frequent basis.
The West Bengal Wrestling Association has assisted in getting international level practise mats to districts. E.g. Ramkrishna Mission Seva Prathisthan, Murshidabad.
